This is a group for people who are interested in functional programming languages. Instead of having one group for a particular language, we'd like to create a group for users (or want-to-be users) of all functional languages. We will have regular drink-up type events, as well as the occasional talk on functional programming (volunteers welcome!).
The Erlang User Group is a group of Erlang Enthusiasts who are interested in sharing their knowledge and meeting people who share similar interests. The group is open to Erlang Architects, Programmers, Project Managers, Software and Platform Innovators, and existing Erlang users as well as Erlang newbies and anyone interested in Erlang. We arrange and promote regular events involving Erlang including free seminars and workshops, followed by the customary Erlounge.
